JOB DESCRIPTION Job Role Overview TheSenior Operations Managerwill be responsible for leading theEBG Foundation’s - Children of Life program , managing fundraising, building donor partnerships, ensuring transparent utilization of donations, and driving social impact initiatives for underprivileged children across India. This role combines strategic thinking, field execution, and donor-centric accountability. The candidate will ensure donations reach the right children ethically, transparently, and with measurable outcomes.Key Responsibilities A. Fundraising & Donor Acquisition (Primary Responsibility) Identify and onboardCorporate CSR partners , HNIs, philanthropists, foundations, and institutions. Developfundraising strategies : campaigns, events, digital drives, partnerships. Build proposals for CSR funding aligned to CSR activities. Maintain donor pipeline and convert leads into long-term partners. Organize fundraising events with influencers/celebrities (e.g., Mithali Raj).B. Donor Relationship Management & Transparency Maintain continuous communication with donors. Providereal-time fund utilization updates , impact reports, photographs, videos. Prepare & shareUCs (Utilization Certificates) , auditor statements, and 80G receipts. Develop donor dashboards to track transparency & impact. Ensure all financial processes meet donor reporting standards.C. Program Management & Execution Identify eligible underprivileged children, schools, NGOs, and communities. Conduct on-ground assessments and baseline studies. Design intervention programs in: Education support, Nutrition programs, Health & wellbeing, Skill development. Manage partnerships with ground NGOs, volunteers, and social workers. Ensure 100% compliance with EBG Foundation’s transparency framework.D. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (MER) Develop KPIs for child support projects. Track fund utilization vs. approved budgets. Preparemonthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports . Ensure data accuracy, documentation, and measurable outcomes. Maintain a beneficiary database with verified & audited child records.E. Finance, Compliance & Audit Coordination Work with finance & legal to maintain: 80G, 12A compliance Section 8 standards CSR Act documentation FCRA norms (if applicable) Support internal and external audits. Ensure all disbursements are fully documented and transparent.F. Stakeholder & Community Management Liaise with: Schools NGOs Local government bodies Healthcare institutions Community leaders Build partnerships for program expansion.G. Marketing, Branding & Communication Work with EBG Group Chairman and Marketing to create: Awareness campaigns Impact stories Social media content Event collaterals for fundraising Coordinate PR activities and public events with celebrities & ambassadors.Required Skills & CompetenciesA. Core Skills Strong fundraising & donor acquisition experience. Excellent communication & relationship management. Strong program management & execution capability. Financial discipline and zero-defect documentation. Stakeholder management and networking. Ability to work with children-focused programs.B. Technical Knowledge Understanding of CSR compliance, Section 135. 80G, 12A norms, NGO governance. NGO accounting, UC reports, audit processes. Impact measurement & beneficiary tracking.C. Behavioural Traits High integrity and ethics (non-negotiable). Empathy and passion for child welfare. Transparent, accountable, and responsible. Self-driven, organised, and field-oriented.Experience Required Ideal Experience 12–15 years in NGOs, Foundations, CSR teams, or social enterprises.
