Director - Business Development

Candidate will require to own and execute end-to-end business development from Sales, SOW to deal closure with close connects and meetings with clients based out of Europe, India, and/or outside-US geographies. Candidate should have prior experience in enabling RFx as part of the opportunity lifecycle and have excellent understanding and prior experience in delivering Information Management projects covering Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Master Data Management System, Business Intelligence & Reporting solutions, IT Architectures, Cloud Platforms (AWS/AZURE), SaaS/PaaS based solution offerings.
Responsibilities:
Business Development Activities:
-Work with EU/India partners to drive Sales & business development process
Establish relationship and work in client facing role with Pharma leaders of Global Capability Centres to win business
-Should be part of strategic large deals team, involved in some of the multi-million, multi-tower deals across the Life Science/Pharma domain.
-Prepare RFx response proposals with focus on Pharma domain and technology experience
-Take complete ownership of the bid, throughout different stages of RFx starting from Deal Evaluation, Story Boarding, solution articulation, proposal summary & writing, till the final submission to the client
-Running and presenting bid defence/client meetings as part of Sales process
-Deal closure with continuous connects and negotiations with clients’ stakeholders
-SOW initiation as part of the deal closure process
-Responsible for Account specific Collateral Preparation: Capability articulation, Client specific collaterals & value packs,
-Present Success stories and Case Studies etc. to clients to showcase Axtria’s value proposition
-Pursue Reporting/Analytics: Opportunity Tracking, Funnel Analysis, etc.
-Clear and Timely communication across Onshore, Offshore, Horizontals, Verticals to ensure everyone is on the same page on deliveries
-Strong experience in creating estimation of project/program
-Candidate should be travel ready for Europe and India based deals based on requirements of bid defence/ deal discussion/closure etc.
Proposition based Demand Creation:
-Conduct market research for identified sub-segment including market intelligence, competitor’s analysis, key success factors etc.
-Research into target accounts for creating customized proposition
-Comparative research of activities carried out by similar customers
-Assist in generating order pipeline, road shows, develop Go-to- market strategy for regions & verticals
-Create market facing collaterals as per requirements
-Able to write white paper, technical/functional point of view
Desirable qualities:
-Good hands-on experience in preparing proposal responses, storyline writing, estimation ofbid, and bid defence
-Very strong communication, power point/word/excel, and writing skills
-Self-Driven for results - Able to take initiative and set priorities; pursue tasks tenaciously & with a need to finish. Able to overcome setbacks which may occur along the way
-Customer Focus - Dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external clients
-Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Probes all fruitful sources for answers. Is excellent at honest analysis. Looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers
-Learning on the Fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems. A relentless and versatile learner
-Should have prior selling and hands-on experience in technologies: Data Management, BI Reporting, and Master data management
