Assistant Editor

Apparel Resources is seeking an experienced Assistant Editor with 4-8 years of relevant expertise in the business of fashion and retail. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented professional with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the fashion industry.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Write engaging, original content for articles, blogs, marketing materials, and social media platforms.
• Research and develop content in varied styles and tones to align with the target audience.
• Ensure all content is grammatically correct and maintains high standards of quality across digital and print platforms.
• Lead and manage a team of feature writers, correspondents, and freelancers to produce compelling content.
• Conduct research, interviews, writing, editing, and proofreading for websites, print media, newsletters, and press releases.
• Attend and cover industry-related events as a company representative, providing insightful reporting.
• Interview industry experts and translate their knowledge into captivating, well-structured stories.
• Collaborate with the design team to create content for digital, print, and social media, including posts and visuals.
