We value intellectual curiosity, proactive ownership, and collaboration with colleagues, and we empower you to meaningfully contribute from day one and accelerate your professional development.We are looking for a bright and exceptional Principal Engineer to join our Front-end Technology team.What You'll DoBuild awesome end user experience using a combination of UX design + Right UI frameworks.Work with the product team to understand the end user needs and build intuitive UI flows.Follow Agile development model to incrementally build out the applications with regular reviews with product and stakeholdersDevelop and scale best technical design and practices across the organizationCollaborate with non-technical stakeholders (Product Managers, Designers) to review usability, accessibility of the UI, to manage delivery, unblock teams, identify risks and remove the roadblocksLead and influence design conversations for scale, performance and wider adoption of library componentsMentor and upskill junior engineers through blogs, peer reviews, design conversations, technology stack choices etc.What You'll NeedA bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in IT industry10+ years of web development technologies including HTML5 Javascript, typescript, React, CSS, TDDGood understanding of UX design, usability, accessibility, look and feel consistencyGood understanding of architectural principles, patterns, web performanceExperience in latest trends ES6/7 Node, package management, webpack, babelWorking knowledge of Object-Oriented JavaScript and Functional JavaScript.Having experience/understanding of Material UI design and mobx are preferredDeep understanding in core web and browser conceptsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent leadership and motivational skillsArcesium's Personal Data Privacy Notice for Candidates is linked .Arcesium and its affiliates do not discriminate in employment matters on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, age, military service eligibility, veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, or any other category protected by law.
