Must-have experience:

  • 3+ years of cloud experience AWS, Azure, GCP required. Multi-cloud preferred.
  • Must have certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM and certifications for either AWS, Azure or GCP.
  • Ensure that cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., SOC, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Be a subject matter expert of public cloud security for the product.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking, security, container and container orchestration, logging and monitoring.
  • Implement & Instrument security controls and tooling across cloud infrastructure to uplevel the security posture.
  • Research new technologies, architectures, and security products that will support security strategies, patterns, and standards and help address new threat vectors
  • Should have good knowledge of cloud including Console, CLI, kubectl, IAM, SSO and K8S RBAC.
  • Be hands on and have knowledge of Terraform and architecture diagrams.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a startup environment and /or perform in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.
  • Collaborate with business and tech leaders as well as engineers building the product.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams toward implementing controls and processes that address identified gaps
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and incidents
  • Security and automation mindset.
