As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer inGenrobotics you will be involved in designing the functionalproduct that meets all technical requirements of the product whichwere set in the target setting event of the new product developmentprocess as well as to meet aesthetic & craftsmanshiprequirements provided by product designers. Genrobotics is seekinga Mechanical design engineer to help enable autonomous roboticsapplications and enhance humanRobotinteractions.Responsibilities:
  • Performload calculations to determine sizing of actuators transmissionsand bearing elements etc.
  • Design innovativemechanisms and transmissions for power transfer through movingjoints.
  • Integrate actuators sensors andelectronics including wiring into a spaceefficient package that isalso conducive for assembly andserviceability.
  • Apply analytical methodsincluding calculations and simulations for the design andoptimization of structures and mechanicalcomponents.
  • Conduct tolerance analysis todetermine the system impacts of assembly fits andbacklash.
  • Fabricate prototypes iterate rapidlyand advance concepts through to volumeproduction.
  • Manage suppliers to executeprojects according to the design specifications and timelinecommitments.
  • Develop specifications andaccelerated test plans to validate the product for its determinedlifetime.
  • Design fixtures and equipment fortesting and calibration in prototype and productionenvironments.
  • Perform rigid body dynamicanalysis for specialpurpose robots using appropriate softwaretools.
  • Responsible to study failure modes andmitigating them using DFMEA mitigating technical risks usingstandard Risk analysis techniques.
  • Responsibleto coordinate with all departments like Quality AssemblySafety
  • Usability Reliability Test Labmaintenance team process planners production team to launch theworking product successfully in the market on time on cost& onquality.

  • Experience in doingDFMEA.
  • Experience in different manufacturingprocesses.
  • Sheet metaldesign.
  • Structuraldesign.
  • Applicationengineer

AddedAdvantage : Experience in Special Purpose Machine SPMdesign.
Qualification: BTech/MTech/Phd mechanical engineering orequivalent good to have Masters in machine design RoboticdesignExperience : 4Years
