As the Manager – Corporate Communications at Aviva India, you will be responsible for shaping and amplifying the company’s reputation through strategic PR, media relations, internal communications, and CSR initiatives. This role requires a dynamic professional who can craft compelling narratives, manage high-impact campaigns, and drive thought leadership while ensuring seamless brand consistency across platforms.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Public Relations & Media Management

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance Aviva India’s brand reputation and visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media houses to drive positive coverage.
  • Plan and execute media rounds, interviews, and press events for leadership positioning.
  • Draft press releases, media statements, and op-eds, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to implement high-impact thought leadership initiatives.


2. Internal Communications


  • Lead the internal communication strategy to drive employee engagement and alignment with company goals.
  • Develop content for CEO town halls, leadership emails, newsletters, and internal campaigns.
  • Manage internal communication channels such as the intranet, digital bulletins, and corporate events.

3. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Management


  • Lead and execute Aviva India’s CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and manage CSR partnerships, NGOs, and initiatives that create long-term impact.
  • Develop compelling storytelling around CSR projects to drive internal and external engagement.
  • Monitor CSR impact, report key metrics, and align programs with regulatory requirements.


4. Brand Strategy & Thought Leadership


  • Shape and refine Aviva India’s brand positioning through strategic communication efforts.
  • Identify and create opportunities for executive profiling, speaker engagements, and authored articles.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and media sentiment to guide brand strategies.


5. Content Development & Storytelling


  • Craft engaging content for press releases, articles, internal communication, and digital platforms.
  • Develop thought leadership content for leadership, ensuring credibility and industry authority.


6. Presentation & PowerPoint Proficiency


  • Design high-impact PowerPoint presentations for leadership, media briefings, and internal communications.
  • Translate complex ideas into visually compelling and easy-to-understand presentations.
  • Support senior executives in preparing presentations for industry conferences and internal meetings.



Key Skills & Qualifications:


Experience:

7-10 years in Corporate Communications, PR, Brand Management, preferably in BFSI or related industries.

PR & Media Relations: Strong media network and experience in handling press interactions.

CSR Leadership: Ability to strategize, implement, and communicate CSR initiatives effectively.

Content & Writing Skills: Exceptional storytelling, content creation, and editorial expertise

Crisis Communication: Ability to handle reputation risks and develop proactive communication strategies.

PowerPoint & Presentation Design: Strong proficiency in creating engaging and professional presentations.

Stakeholder Management: Experience working closely with leadership teams, PR agencies, and cross-functional teams.

Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team and drive productivity.
