We have an exciting opportunity to join our Melbourne  team as Leader, Crew Culture , leading our award-winning Cabin Crew—named Best Cabin Crew for seven consecutive years. As Leader Crew Culture, your primary responsibility is to lead, support, coach, and develop a team of customer service professionals that operate onboard our aircrafts. Your leadership will be key to fostering a collaborative, empowered, and high-performing team that makes every guest’s journey unforgettable. Reporting to the Crew Culture Manager, you will be responsible for driving team and operational performance in line with Virgin Australia’s values, policies, and KPIs. You will also play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our crew, taking a proactive approach to their needs and development. Inspire and motivate Cabin Crew building an environment that delivers memorable experiences to every customer, every day. Ensure that your team meets operational targets, safety regulations, and performance metrics while maintaining a high level of service quality. Embed and lead a positive people culture in line with the Virgin Australia Group’s strategic vision and purpose. Facilitate performance management meetings, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and Fair Work. Ensure team members adhere to the Enterprise Agreement (EA), workplace regulations, and company policies. Support investigations into workplace incidents, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and compliant processes. Manage health and wellbeing of our Cabin Crew members including leading return-to-work processes, supporting employees with injury management and liaising with relevant stakeholders. Support the day-to-day operation as required to ensure performance metrics are met. What you need to be successful: Minimum year 12 qualification or equivalent Leadership experience in leading large diverse teams in a fast-paced business Previous experience working in the aviation industry, ideally in Cabin Crew or a Crew Leadership position Alternatively, Human Resources experience is advantageous when coupled with experience leading teams  Experience with running performance management processes and leading remote teams Trusted people leadership capability Demonstrated ability to influence and engage business leaders Emotional intelligence, the ability to read, monitor and understand behaviours and respond to affect positive outcomes Ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large diverse workforce Good understanding of working to the scope of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Computer literacy  Why join Virgin Australia?  There’s never been a more exciting time to be part of Virgin Australia We’re breaking records, growing our fleet, and making big investments in tech, travel, and our people: Almost 4 million guests flying with us this summer, setting new records.
