As part of the larger Banking Solutions IT Platform Application Support, our team is at the forefront of supporting FIS’ Banking & Payment Applications.

We use industry-leading technologies, applications, automation and processes to deliver and support FIS IT technologies.Looking to start or grow your career at FIS? Our team is centrally placed, interfacing with a broad range of FIS Teams, Systems, and Applications on a daily basis.

What you will be doing

Help to implement SRE Principles & Practices and Application Support with Engineering mindset in Application Production Support teamGoing to work on breadth of technologies, should be ready to learn / exhibit breadth of technologies to understand the systems and implement SRE practicesUnderstand complete echo system andMandatory participation in Triages/Root cause analysis of issues and plan for fixing themWork as per SLI, SLO and Error Budgets. Identification and reduction of TOIL,SRE Tools,

Automation and AI/MLCover application stability, uptime and performance with Monitoring and

EngineeringParticipate in Technical discussions with Architects / Dev / DBA / SysAdmin etc teams to ensure adoption of SRE Principles in building Secure and Reliable systems

What you bring:

7+ years experience in Application Support(Unix,SQL,Openshift)At least 7 years in experience in Application Support and Production supportGood experience Unix, SQL, Open Shift, Unix Shell scriptingHands on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud products.Ensure availability, reliability and performance of OpenShift/Container Platform..Knowledge in Support and Monitoring tools like Splunk, DynatraceApplication Production Support ExperienceExperience in Troubleshooting Incident Triaging, Log analysis, Platform StabilityKnowledge in Incident, Change ManagementKnowledge in Control M or Batch job process

Added bonus if you have:

Knowledge of FIS’ products and servicesKnowledge of Risk & Compliance in Financial servicesKnowledge of Cloud Systems (Azure / AWS)
