Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS architectures at scale. Contribute to the overall cloud strategy and roadmap- Build complex CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management for large-scale applications- Proactively analyze infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for cost and efficiency- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system-wide issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures- Design and enforce secure infrastructure patterns, conduct security audits, and drive security initiatives- Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and share best practices within the organization- Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and AWS services, evaluating their potential impact and driving adoption- Technical advice for the testing teams

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant AWS experience- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AWS solutions- Experience leading and mentoring DevOps teams- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and architect robust solutions.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty)

Desirable

- Cloud: Experience with another cloud (Azure or GCP)- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced skills in CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools- Programming and Scripting: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js)- Containerization and Microservices: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures- Complex Configuration Management: Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)- Robust Networking: In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPC design, hybrid cloud architectures, and network security- Security Focus: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, penetration testing, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
