Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in infrastructure technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services).Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, and develop detailed project plans to guide the execution.Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and priorities.Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively.Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners as needed to procure resources, equipment, and services for project execution.Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance project delivery capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in infrastructure or technology-related projects.Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and concepts, including networking, servers, storage, and virtualization.Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving project success.Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technology domains.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices.Previous experience in the (industry/sector) sector or related industries.
