Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at Dr. Shafi's Child Development Centre by B4Brain located in Kozhikode. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing therapy, rehabilitation, and communication support for pediatric patients. They will work closely with medical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans to enhance the development and well-being of children.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy with Pediatrics. Masters Preferred.
-Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills
-Experience in working with pediatric patients
-Knowledge of Occupational Pediatrics
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
-Empathy and patience in working with children and their families
-Assess children’s developmental, motor, and sensory needs.
-Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address sensory, motor, and functional challenges.
-Use evidence-based interventions to help children improve their ability to perform daily activities and participate fully in school and social settings.
-Collaborate with other professionals on the multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to the child’s development.
-Equip parents with the tools and knowledge to continue therapy at home, fostering a consistent and supportive environment for the child.
-Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on the child’s progress.
-Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
