Job description – F&DT Automation Engineer -InternTeam: Structural Analysis – Architecture & Concept Analysis (Siglum: AIEAAB)The Architecture and Concept analysis team is a part of the ‘Structural analysis’ group under the Structures department and plays a key role in demonstrating emerging technology readiness levels and developing innovative solutions for design and development of current and future aircraft programmes.Job scope (core activities):● Fatigue Spectra analysis and automation of analysis steps.● Explore digitization techniques such as automation, data analytics, machine learning etc. ● Simulate mathematical models to solve existing manual approaches using programming language.● Improve productivity of the process used for fatigue spectra analysis with preprocessing automation tools and collaborating all identified tools in User friendly GUI.● Develop solutions that meet the requirements of engineering, manufacturing, assembly, cost and time to market.● Propose new architectures, concepts and explore disruptive and incremental innovation. ● Evaluate emerging technologies and demonstrate their readiness level for aircraft applications - zero emission, liquid Hydrogen storage, cryogenics, HVDC.● Design and material trade-off analysis for new and legacy Airbus programmes. ● Perform preliminary design and sizing studies using legacy methods, hand calculations and FEM. ● Linear and non-linear static and fatigue stress justifications using hand calculations and FEA. ● Collaborate with other groups within Airframe such as materials, system installation for end to end solutions.● Follow all set quality standards, processes, engineering principles and best practices. ● Collaborate with other teams to determine if designs meet customer needs.Required Domain Expertise:● Strong aptitude for technology (engineering fundamentals including knowledge of structural design, mechanical design, material properties & some awareness of Aerospace Industry standards for aircraft Structures)● Eager to use their mathematical and scientific abilities to build and solve Design Problems. ● Interpret engineering drawings● High level scripting knowledge for tools creation● Very good analytical and reasoning skills● Strong aptitude for problem solving● Excellent Communication & soft skills● Proactive, flexible & adaptive to changing project scenarios and requirements Tools: MS Office, Nastran, Hypermesh, AbaqusProgramming language:

Python, Excel VBASoft skills:● Ability to work independently & in a transnational team.● Good communication and interpersonal skills● Flexibility & adaptabilityExperience:● FresherQualifications:Post graduate (Aerospace / Mechanical / Civil / Manufacturing)
