Inward Supervisor/ Lead Supply Chain Operations Location: (Mumbai) |

Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview:

As an Inward Lead, youll be responsible for managing the inflow of inventory from vendors and distribution centers to warehouses. This role requires strong coordination and planning skills to ensure timely and accurate receiving of goods, minimizing bottlenecks in the upstream supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan daily inward schedules in coordination with procurement and vendor teams.
  • Ensure accurate GRN (Goods Receipt Note) creation and reconciliation with purchase orders. Track inbound shipments and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
  • Allocate receiving docks and labor efficiently based on expected loads.
  • Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and quality checks of incoming inventory.
  • Coordinate with inventory and quality control teams to manage rejections and shortages. Maintain WMS records and ensure real-time inward data accuracy.
  • Analyze inward flow data to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time (TAT).

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in inbound logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience with any WMS and basic Excel proficiency.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high volumes and tight schedules
