Role Description

We are seeking a talented Optics Designer to join our dynamic product engineering team in Pune in a full-time on-site role. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing optical systems, conducting analysis and testing, developing optical components, and collaborating with a multi-discplinary engineering team to ensure project success.


Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in optical system design and development, with a focus on daytime or challenging lighting conditions.
  • Proven expertise in optical modeling, simulation, and experimental techniques.
  • Experience in astronomical optics.
  • Experience with optical design software (e.g., Zemax, Code V) and testing equipment.
  • Experience with MATLAB, C, Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
