Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Engineer located in Ahmedabad. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for executing test cases, ensuring software quality through manual testing, and developing test plans. Daily tasks include designing and implementing tests, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with the development team to fix issues.

  • Test Planning & Execution
    :
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing for new and existing software applications.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Automation
    :
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Integrate automation tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Bug Identification & Reporting
    :
  • Identify, report, and track software defects in bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, product management, UX/UI) to ensure test coverage is complete and functional requirements are met.
  • Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Performance & Load Testing
    :
  • Conduct performance and load testing to assess software behavior under stress and identify potential bottlenecks.
  • Documentation
    :
  • Document test results and create clear and concise reports for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
  • Continuous Learning

  • Keep up to date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
