Currently, we are in search of an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience by automating deployment and lead the DevOps process. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our deployment pipelines and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of code, minimize conflicts during merge processes and create a robust DevOps process.

The following are some of the responsibilities for this position:

- Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.- Automate configuration management and application deployments using Ansible.- Manage and maintain Docker containers.- Create plug-and-play/reusable solutions and patterns for CI/CD pipelines.- Build or maintain CI/CD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for development team to enable quicker build and deployment.- Configure, update and fix Apache 2 and Nginx server.- Collaborate with development teams to ensure code merges and deployments are smooth and conflict-free.- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.- Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed.- Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities.- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

- Comprehensive technical expertise in a variety of toolkits, including Ansible, Docker, Git/Version Control Software or similar technologies.- Must have experience working in single-tenant environment and microservices architecture.- Desirable to have any of these certifications, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Docker Certified Associate.- Must be able to make php/mysql application auto-deployable using docker.- Strong knowledge of AWS server Security and various security tools.- Working knowledge of databases.- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.- Have handled and set up a DevOps team from scratch.
