Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Architect, you will lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring all designs are functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Develop and present detailed design proposals, including plans, 3D models, and renderings.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine project requirements and specifications.
Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects are being built according to specifications and quality standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and design team members.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and design.
Foster a culture of innovation, sustainability, and excellence within the architectural team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects and design expertise.
Excellent understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation.
Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology.
Previous experience working in a real estate development company.
