The Position
As the Director, the role involves overseeing production and capacity planning across all IFP sites. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving plan variances, managing inventory, and optimizing processes in alignment with business objectives. People management, in line with the Novo Nordisk Way, will be a key aspect of your responsibility, ensuring adherence to Business Ethics guidelines and serving as a role model for ethical behavior and judgement. You will have the following responsibilities:
Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, and evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain. Develop and maintain professional relationships with other functions such as Site Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance. Proactively identify challenges and suggest solutions or escalate to appropriate stakeholders for problem resolution. Manage the pipeline of processes transferred from IFP to GBS. Attract and onboard competent local employees. Develop people and build up the right competency level. Build a local organization focused on different functional parts of the IFP Planning.Qualifications
Masters/Bachelors in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or Business Administration with 15+ years of operational and strategic experience working with supply chain and offshoring, preferably in a large international company. Over 8+ years of demonstrated people management and senior leadership experience, with the ability to effectively communicate vision to the team and think strategically, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and growth. Possess strong coaching, mentoring skills and has proven ability to manage and adapt to changes. Has personal drive and personal impact and integrity with cultural sensitivity and understanding . Ability to analyse and solve complex issues in a timely and structured manner.
About the department
The Supply Chain GBS unit was established as part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply Devices & Supply Chain Management business plan. Our unit is focused on consolidating supply chain activities across the organization and driving efficiency through offshoring. We are a part of the Supply Chain Planning (SCP) team at our headquarters and work closely with other functions to optimize costs and reduce complexity in our supply chain operations.
