About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong passion for building resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with 4 to 6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure to deepen their expertise in AWS, automation, and monitoring, while working within a collaborative and forward-thinking engineering culture. This will be the first AWS focused SRE role for our new Pune office, therefore providing leadership growth opportunities for the successful candidate, as we will be looking to grow our Pune capability for maintaining and growing our AWS infrastructure. You'll work closely with experienced global teams and leadership, gaining meaningful ownership and exposure across our platform. This is a high-impact position with tremendous growth potential, ideal for someone ready to take the next big step in their career.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining secure, scalable AWS environments.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Help implement and improve monitoring and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis with guidance from senior team members.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) for faster, more reliable deployments.
  • Learn and apply best practices in cloud security and AWS IAM.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to deliver stable, high-performing systems.

To be successful, you will need to bring:

  • 4 to 6 years' experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or Infrastructure roles.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Some scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • An understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices in the cloud.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, troubleshoot problems, and take ownership of tasks.
