About Us:
Hobberman & Company is a leading Legal Service Provider specializing in providing comprehensive legal and immigration solutions. Our team delivers exceptional client service, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and compliance.
We are currently seeking for multiple Legal Associates to join our US Immigration team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supporting clients in navigating complex US immigration processes.
Key Responsibilities for Associate Position:
1. US Immigration Case Management
• Assist in preparing and filing various US immigration petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-2, and employment- or family-based green card applications.
• Support responses to RFEs (Requests for Evidence) and assist in PERM processes with attention to detail.
2. Client Support
• Act as a key contact for clients, providing initial guidance on immigration policies, processes, and timelines.
• Assist with client onboarding and maintain effective communication throughout the case lifecycle.
3. Legal Research & Compliance
• Stay informed on updates to US immigration laws and policies.
• Ensure case filings meet all regulatory compliance requirements, including those of USCIS and DOL.
4. Documentation & Quality Review
• Prepare and review case documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Draft basic case strategies, cover letters, and supporting documentation with guidance from senior team members.
5. Collaboration & Support
• Collaborate with senior associates and paralegals to ensure efficient case processing.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and team projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related fields or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in US business and family immigration processes, including H-1B, PERM, and green card applications. Proven experience with high-volume immigration cases is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in immigration case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong research and writing skills for legal drafting.
Personal Attributes: Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset. Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating with a global team.
