MIS Executive – Retail Pharmacy

Job Location: Villupuram

Role Overview

MIS Executive – Retail Pharmacy is responsible for managing, analyzing, and presenting data related to retail pharmacy operations. This role ensures timely generation of MIS reports, supports business decisions with accurate data, and helps improve operational efficiency across stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, compile, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly retail pharmacy sales data.
  • Prepare MIS reports covering sales, stock, billing, footfall, and store-wise performance.
  • Track KPIs such as sales per store, sales per pharmacist, and category-wise performance.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, purchase trends, and stock movement.
  • Prepare exception reports for slow-moving, expired, and near-expiry medicines.
  • Generate dashboards and presentations for management review.
  • Support store operations with timely data insights and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy by coordinating with the Retail, Accounts, Warehouse, and IT teams.
  • Automate reporting processes (Excel/ERP tools/BI dashboards) for efficiency.
  • Provide data support for strategic decisions like new store openings, marketing campaigns, and sales targets.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros preferred).
  • Knowledge of SQL/Power BI/Tableau is an added advantage.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
  • Understanding of retail pharmacy operations (billing, sales, inventory, expiry management).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Commerce, Computer Science, Statistics, or Pharmacy-related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in MIS/Data Analysis, preferably in Retail/Pharmacy/Healthcare.
  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Marg, or equivalent).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹30,818.78 per month
