Job role –Automation Lead
Job Description:
The Automation Lead is responsible to develop and deliver roadmap for automation testing to drive transformation of client quality and testing organization. They are responsible for developing strategy for client specific testing requirements, architecting appropriate functional & automation frameworks and applying automated tools to support application testing. This person should be a client facing thought leader, transformation agents, technically savvy and can establish themselves as trusted advisors that understand broader IT enterprise architecture. The Automation lead will be required to assess client environment at enterprise level and provide cross platform, cross tooling solutions that span across delivery models (waterfall/agile). The candidate will have expertise in broad range of solutions, tools, architectures .
Skill set and other responsibilities:
10 + years of experience.
Required skillset includes cross platform, cross tool, open source, solution architecture, strategy and consulting skills. These include Selenium, Java and Open Source Automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber), Web Driver/RC, TestNG, TestRail etc.
Experience on following:
Test Strategy and Planning
Automation Testing, Performance Testing and Security Testing
Test Environment Setup
Testing Standards and Best Practices
Defect Management
Test Data Management
Reporting and Communication
Experience in delivery of E2E QA solutions over various platforms and applications, configuration of automation tools and open-source software and strong understanding on SDLC/STLC
Ability to perform assessments, develop solutions, proposals and lead the strategy development and implementation
Should be able to resolve issues across QA phases
Should have excellent troubleshooting skills
Hands on experience in identifying the automation requirements.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, good communicator and strong influencing skills
Manage Testing Scope, SLAs (if any), Performance Metrics, Communication, Risk & Issues etc.
