Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in compounding pharmaceuticals including preparation of various dosage forms (Mandatory skill). Experience in using pharmacy information systems to manage and process patient information efficiently. Capability in medication therapy management for optimizing patient treatments and outcomes. Expertise in drug utilization review to improve the quality and safety of medication use. In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance ensuring all processes adhere to healthcare standards. Strong patient counseling skills for explaining medication usage and addressing patient concerns. Ability in inventory management ensuring availability of medications and preventing shortages. Skill in accurate prescription processing minimizing errors and safeguarding patient safety. Roles and Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions issued by physicians. Provide patients with comprehensive guidance on the use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. Manage and oversee pharmacy operations including inventory and regulatory compliance. Conduct drug utilization reviews and report any discrepancies or concerns to prescribing physicians. Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and treatment protocols. Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in pharmacy and healthcare. Perform quality assurance checks and maintain the highest standards of accuracy in pharmacy operations.
