JOB PURPOSE
:

The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for power and energy solutions equipment (such as transformers, switchgear, power panels, DG sets, solar solutions, and automation systems). The role ensures optimal performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:

1.     Installation & Commissioning

2.     Install, test, and commission electrical equipment, panels, and energy solutions at client sites.

3.     Ensure proper integration with existing systems

4.     Maintenance & Troubleshooting

5.     Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical panels, switchgear, DG sets, and other power systems.

6.     Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.

7.     Customer support

8.     Provide on-site and remote support to clients.

9.     Train client staff on equipment usage and safety procedures.

10.  Maintain professional communication with customers to build strong relationships.

11.  Documentation & Reporting

12.  Prepare service reports, commissioning checklists, and maintenance logs.

13.  Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

14.  Compliance and safety.

15.  Adhere to company's safety, quality, and compliance policies.

16.  Follow industry standards, statutory regulations, and environmental guidelines.

17.  Team collaboration

18.  Coordinate with design, sales, and operations teams for project execution

19.  Assist in developing service manuals and technical documents

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education: ITI/ Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 2-5 years in power distribution, generator, switchgear, panels, DG sets, or energy solutions industry.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
:

Knowledge of electrical circuits, automation (PLC, SCADA), and protection systems.

Hands on experience in testing tools, instruments, and safety procedures.
