Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the team to comprehensively assess and analyze the client's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.

- This may involve gathering data, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and understanding user needs.

- Evaluate existing virtualization solutions, including Citrix and VMware.

- Identify areas for improvement in performance, scalability, security, or manageability.

- Propose and recommend enhancements to the VDI environment.

- This could involve suggesting new technologies, configuration changes, or optimization strategies.

- Provide expert guidance and support on Citrix, VMware, SCCM, Intune, and device management strategies.

- Advise on best practices for deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to VDI and application delivery.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest Citrix, VMware, and EUC technologies through ongoing learning and professional development.

- Document configurations, procedures, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in virtualization technologies, with a minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in Citrix and VMware administration

- Strong understanding of EUC (End-User Computing) services, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Workspace Service.

- Solid knowledge of server administration, including Windows Server and Active Directory.

- Experience with configuration management tools like SCCM and Intune is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex VDI issues.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Experience with Citrix ADC, NetScaler, or other application delivery controllers.

- Experience with cloud-based VDI deployments (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces).

- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.

- Experience with API integrations for automation and orchestration.

- Certifications in Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
