Job Title : ServiceNow Team Lead - ITOM

Location : Bangalore

Timings : 5 PM to 2 AM IST

Key skills : ITOM Expertise - CMDB, CI - Configuration item, Discovery, Archival, De-duplication, Completeness, Correctness.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer, Team Lead to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in ITOM (IT Operations Management) development, with a particular focus on CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and CI (Configuration Item) management.

This role requires a strong understanding of configuration item discovery, archival, de-duplication, completeness, and correctness. Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is preferred, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Leadership and Team Management :

- Lead and manage a team of ServiceNow developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Develop and maintain team goals, objectives, and metrics to track progress and performance.

2. ITOM Development :

- Design, develop, and implement ITOM solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on CMDB and CI management.

- Ensure the completeness, correctness, and de-duplication of configuration items.

- Develop and maintain discovery processes to identify and capture configuration items.

3. Configuration Management :

- Oversee the implementation and management of the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

- Implement archival processes to manage the lifecycle of configuration items.

- Develop and enforce standards and best practices for configuration management.

4. Technical Expertise :

- Utilize advanced knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM modules to design and implement effective solutions.

- Provide technical leadership in the development and integration of ServiceNow applications.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in ITOM and ServiceNow development.

5. Project Management :

- Manage and deliver ITOM projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience : Minimum of 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in ITOM, particularly in CMDB and CI management.

- Proficiency in configuration item discovery, archival, de-duplication, completeness, and correctness.

- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery is preferred but not mandatory.

Industry Knowledge : Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry is a plus.

Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a team of developers.

Project Management : Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
