Job Description

Role:
Senior SAP ABAP RAP Developer

Experience:
10+ Years (with 2–3 years in RAP)

Location:
Remote

Notice Period:
Immediate to 15 Days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of applications using the
    Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
    in
    S/4HANA
    and
    SAP BTP
    .
  • Architect, implement, and optimize
    CDS Views, OData V2/V4 services, Annotations, and Fiori Elements integration
    .
  • Drive advanced
    ABAP on HANA programming techniques
    including AMDPs, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with functional/business teams to translate requirements into robust RAP-based solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP coding standards, secure coding practices, and performance best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for junior ABAP developers.
  • Support
    end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and production deployment
    .

Primary Skills (Must Have):

10+ years of
SAP ABAP Development

2–3 years
hands-on RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)

Strong in
CDS Views, OData Services, AMDPs, ABAP OO

Experience integrating RAP with
Fiori Elements/UI5

Debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

SAP Gateway, Fiori freestyle/UI5 apps

Agile/Scrum project delivery

Screening Criteria:

  • Overall 10+ Years SAP ABAP experience
  • At least 2–3 Years RAP project delivery experience
