Job Title: Academic Mentor – CMA (Cost and Management Accounting)Location: (Insert Location)Employment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: AcademicsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and academically strong Academic Mentor (CMA) to guide and support students pursuing the Cost and Management Accounting program. The mentor will play a key role in student engagement, academic monitoring, and faculty coordination to ensure an effective and motivating learning environment.Key Responsibilities- Mentor students enrolled in the CMA program and track their academic progress.- Conduct regular follow-ups and counseling sessions to ensure students stay motivated and on track.- Guide students in study techniques, time management, and exam preparation strategies.- Monitor student attendance and participation in engagement and academic activities.- Assist in preparing question papers, PPTs, and other academic materials.- Coordinate with faculty to collect and organize study materials, ensuring timely submission.- Support faculty in implementing academic initiatives and assessments.- Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions to resolve academic challenges or concerns.- Maintain accurate and updated student records and progress reports.- Collaborate with content creation teams to ensure conceptual accuracy in academic materials.- Research academic issues faced by students and faculty and propose effective solutions.- Handle multiple academic and administrative tasks efficiently within deadlines.Requirements- Qualification: Qualified or semi-qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent.- Strong knowledge of CMA syllabus, subjects, and exam pattern.- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic coordination preferred.- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and independently when needed.- Willingness to multitask and contribute to various academic operations.Preferred Skills- Experience in content development, curriculum planning, or student counseling.- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with online learning tools.- Detail-oriented, empathetic, and student-focused approach.
