Responsibility:
This is a full-time on-site customer-facing role located in Hyderabad for a Lead or Senior Data Scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing and GenAI with following responsibilities:
Collaborate with prospective clients to elicit their needs, then apply advanced expertise in artificial intelligence, specifically NLP/GenAI, to develop innovative algorithms and applications that address those needs.
Translate state-of-the-art AI research into sustainable and excellently engineered software that exceeds scalability and reliability benchmarks in a production environment.
Strengthen the symbiosis between engineering and data science teams, promoting a culture of collective responsibility for project outcomes, delivery and shared learning.
Exercise full responsibility for delivering high-quality code and thoroughly tested machine learning models, adhering strictly to predetermined deadlines.
Keep abreast of industry advancements in AI and machine learning, incorporating this knowledge into team practices and strategic planning.
Mentor freshers and interns.
Requirements/Eligibility:
Educational and Industry Experience:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 4 to 6 years of relevant industry experience, or a Master’s degree accompanied by 2 to 4 years of industry experience. PhD freshers can also apply.
The degree should be in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Computer Engineering, acquired from a premier institute. In India, this would include institutions like the IITs, IISc, while globally, the degree should be from a university that ranks
Technical:
Industrial experience must be in steering and executing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) projects, with a specialized focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI (GenAI).
Extensive proficiency in Python programming tailored to developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and adeptness in integrating advanced software engineering techniques into AI system design.
Proficiency in leading deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras, with an emphasis on crafting and customizing models for complex data science challenges.
Demonstrated experience with the integration and application of Transformer models, Large/Small Language Models (LLMs, SLMs) for a variety of complex NLP tasks including but not limited to text generation, sentiment analysis, machine translation, and content moderation, chatbots.
Solid experience with machine learning lifecycle management tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow and proficiency in utilizing major cloud service providers’ ML environments like AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, and Google AI Platform for seamless model training and deployment.
Prior experience or knowledge of the utilization of Databricks for large-scale data processing and familiarity with robust ML ecosystems which supports exploratory data analysis, prototyping, and orchestrating ML pipelines.
An uncompromised dedication to crafting high-quality engineering documentation, emphasizing clear and concise descriptions, reproducible results, and maintaining excellence in technical reporting and code documentation.

This client-facing role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as a professional demeanor and presentation.
