At DataLabs, Capital One India, we solve fundamental business problems at scale using advanced analytics, data science and machine learning. We specialize in deriving valuable insights about various aspects of the business - including product and process design, consumer behavior, regulatory and credit risk, and much more - from large volumes of data to build cutting edge patentable products at an industrial scale.
We’re looking for a Principal Associate - Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) team to spearhead our foray into autonomous and intelligent data products that solve the full gamut of business and analytical needs. This role involves working with heads of lines of businesses in our Financial Services division to understand contemporary business needs, lead analytical teams to make impactful and actionable offers, and work with Engineering groups to lead tech delivery of large product builds. The role encompasses recruiting, developing and motivating an exceptional team that is drawn from elite campuses in India and abroad, and focused on our mission to develop world class data products.

What You’ll Do:
Be part of a team working together to design, architect, and then deliver a solution around enabling seamless mobility of our users across sets of back-end infrastructure.
Work to build abstractions on top of back-end Kubernetes based systems so as to remove complexity of moving users of our multi-tenant machine learning platforms across different systems.
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code
Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of customers achieve financial empowerment
Utilize programming languages like Go and Python as well as AWS services such as EKS, the various EC2 and networking based services, RDS, DynamoDB, EFS and S3, plus various data platforms.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 4 years of experience
At least 2 years of experience with AWS
At least 1 year of experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
At least 1 year of experience in Agile practices
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of experience in software engineering.
1+ years of experience specifically with Python or Golang
2+ years of experience with AWS
1+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
