Sparken IT Solutions is committed to helping businesses adapt to evolving market demands while improving efficiency and reducing time to market.Role DescriptionThe Senior Cloud Administrator / Manager is responsible for strategic oversight of cloud and network infrastructure during overnight operations. This role goes beyond incident response, focusing on risk planning, disaster recovery preparedness, and proactive capacity management to ensure operational resilience, compliance, and scalability of institutional systems. The position requires leadership in guiding overnight teams, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring seamless handovers to daytime operations.Key Deliverables- Cloud & Network Capacity Management- Monitor server loads, traffic patterns, and cloud resource utilization.- Optimize performance and cost efficiency.- Security & Compliance Oversight- Enforce institutional, government, and vendor compliance standards.- Monitor intrusion detection/prevention systems and ensure secure cloud integrations.- Operational Leadership- Lead incident response and escalation during critical events.- Strategic Infrastructure Planning- Risk & Disaster Recovery Planning- Develop, document, and test disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies.Required Skills & Qualifications- Expertise in cloud platforms and hybrid cloud environments.- Proficiency in monitoring tools and network planning.- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.- 7–10 years of experience in cloud/network administration, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
