About the Company - We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior AI Scientist specializing in Clinical and Healthcare Applications to join our Client. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in machine learning and clinical data science to develop and deploy advanced models for healthcare applications, patient personalization, and clinical decision support. This role is pivotal in driving the integration of diverse healthcare data sources to optimize patient outcomes and advance precision medicine. Experience in pharmaceutical data analysis and applications is highly preferred.
About the Role - Machine Learning Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for healthcare applications, including patient personalization, treatment prediction, and clinical decision support systems. Utilize ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn to build robust and scalable models. Apply expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and computer vision to extract insights from unstructured clinical data and medical images. Implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring in production environments.
Responsibilities
Analyze clinical and patient data to build predictive models for treatment efficacy and patient outcomes.
Develop statistical models to evaluate treatment effectiveness, patient risk factors, and healthcare trends.
Integrate diverse data sources, such as electronic health records (EHR), clinical trials, and pharmaceutical datasets, to support comprehensive data analysis and model development.
Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and domain experts to ensure the clinical relevance and accuracy of model outputs.
Perform data wrangling and preprocessing to ensure high-quality inputs for model training and analysis.
Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, EHR systems) throughout all stages of model development and deployment.
Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, data scientists, and business leaders.
Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for clinical decision-making and healthcare strategy.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Python and R, with expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Demonstrated experience with LLMs, NLP, and computer vision for healthcare applications.
Proven track record in clinical data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
Experience working with multi-modal data sources, including clinical and pharmaceutical data.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations, such as HIPAA and EHR systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
Experience in pharmaceutical data analysis and applications.
Experience in developing and deploying models in a production environment.
Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and challenges.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
