Recently Astrotalk has secured a substantial $20 million investment from Left Lane Capital, a renowned US-based venture capital firm. We will utilize the funds for strategic acquisitions to expand in international markets, solidify new business verticals, and hire senior leadership roles. And recently, we successfully organised an ESOP buyback to create wealth for our employees.

Job Title : Lead Java Developer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Java Developer with at least 4 years of professional experience in Java development and a proven track record of leading a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on product development from the ground up, demonstrating strong leadership and technical Responsibilities:


- Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 Java developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.


- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.


- Work on the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.


- Ensure the technical feasibility of product requirements.


- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.


- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.


- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.


- Participate in architectural and design discussions to drive technical

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development.


- Proven experience in leading a team of 3-4 members.


- Experience in building and launching a product from scratch.


- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks and tools (e.g., Advance Java, Springboot, Hibernate, Rest API).


- Understanding of microservices architecture.


- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).


- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development Qualifications:


- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).


- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
