Role Definition : The Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical) will be responsible for Basic & Detailed Mechanical Engineering Design for Solid Waste Management projects. The role includes developing engineering documents, equipment sizing, design calculations, piping layouts, drawings, vendor interaction, ensuring design compliance and supporting project execution teams. Experience 5-8 years of relevant experience in design for Wastewater / Chemical / MSW projects / Petrochemical / Power / Utilities sectors Minimum Qualifications B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering M.E./M.Tech (Preferred) Familiarity with IS, ASME, API, ASHRAE Standards desirable. Key Responsibilities Mechanical system/equipment design, sizing, selection & datasheet preparation Develop PFDs, P&IDs, Mass/Energy Balance, GADs, BOQs, Isometrics & Mechanical Layouts Detailed design for Piping, HVAC, Pressure Vessels, Boilers, Heat Exchangers Review vendor drawings, prepare RFQs & support procurement decisions Generate engineering documentation, BOMs, O&M manuals, maintain design records Ensure adherence to project specifications, design standards & compliance Liaise with Process, Civil, E&I, Procurement & Execution teams Support commissioning and participate in PGTR activities Coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors for drawing & design approvals Interested candidates can share their updated CVs at with the subject line 'Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical'
