1. Accountability : Insurance Claims * To Collect and follow-up necessary details with Plants related to various insurance coverage and claims. * To collect and follow-up with Insurance Company/ Surveyor for proper coverage and for timely settlement of claims * To prepare Claim experience statement (Claim Incurred v/s Premium Paid) * Preparing Claims MIS to reflect all Pending Claims, with status. 

2. Cash Deposit Account Reconciliation * To prepare reconciliations of all entries in CD account with Insurance Companies on a monthly basis. 

3. Insurance Coverage and Declarations * Timely reminder for renewals * To collect data required for renewal/ submission of declaration from Plants and Marketing offices. * To invite quotations from various Insurance Companies at the time of renewal and for specific policies. * To keep full record of policies / endorsements / amendments / additions/deletions. * To prepare and timely filing of Marine/Stock Declarations and premium refunds 

4. Miscellaneous * To prepare a schedule of Insurance Policies. * To cater to various requests received from plants and marketing offices for new covers, claims intimation, and clarifications about coverage.
