Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Sales Operations Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage and optimize our sales operations processes, tools, and strategies to enhance the efficiency and performance of our sales organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that sales operations support the company's overall business objectives. Your key focus will be on improving sales productivity, enabling data-driven decision-making, and driving the efficiency of the sales team.
Collaborate with sales leadership to define and implement sales strategies, goals, and initiatives.
Lead efforts to optimize and streamline sales processes, ensuring alignment with best practices and company objectives.
Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and implement solutions to improve overall sales efficiency.
Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct detailed analysis of sales data to provide actionable insights to the sales team and leadership.
Regularly report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance trends.
Lead the sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business targets.
Provide ongoing sales analytics to assist with territory planning, quota management, and resource allocation.
Ensure that forecasts are regularly updated and aligned with actual performance.
Oversee and manage the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), ensuring it is properly configured and utilized to support the sales process.
Train sales teams on CRM tools and processes, ensuring high levels of adoption and data accuracy.
Evaluate and implement new sales technologies to improve efficiency and drive productivity.
Assist in designing and managing sales compensation and incentive plans that align with company goals.
Monitor and ensure timely and accurate calculation and payment of commissions and bonuses.
Ensure alignment of compensation plans with overall sales strategies
Work closely with marketing, finance, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment and support of the sales process.
Coordinate with finance teams to ensure smooth processes for revenue recognition, quota setting, and forecasting.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or a related field.
Proven track record of working with sales teams and leadership to drive operational efficiency and sales growth.
Strong experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced skills preferred).
Experience with sales analytics, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and reporting systems.
Knowledge of sales automation tools and technologies.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
