As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking an experienced and driven individual to spearhead the establishment of a new line of chemicals trading within our organization.

Position Overview:As the Chemical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Jaysons Chemical Industries' new trading division, focusing on the buying, selling, and distribution of various chemical products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the chemicals market, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record or showing some potential of driving business growth.Key Responsibilities:Market Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify opportunities for chemical trading, including demand trends, competitor analysis, and potential partnerships.Strategic Planning:

Develop a strategic plan for the chemicals trading division, outlining key objectives, target markets, pricing strategies, and sales forecasts.Supplier and Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with chemical suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating favorable terms and securing reliable sources of supply. Cultivate relationships with prospective clients to drive sales and expand market reach.Risk Management:

Assess and mitigate risks associated with chemical trading activities, including supply chain disruptions, price fluctuations, and regulatory compliance.Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of traders, analysts, and support staff over a period of time. Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure team members are equipped to achieve their goals and contribute to the success of the division.Financial Management:

Develop and manage the budget for the chemicals trading division, tracking expenses, revenue, and profitability metrics. Implement cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement strategies to optimize financial performance.Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing chemical trading activities, including safety, environmental, and import/export regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Chemistry, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.1-7 years of experience in chemical trading or related industry, with a proven track record of success in business development and leadership roles.Deep knowledge of the chemicals market, including key players, products, pricing trends, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop effective business strategies.Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.(Optional) Proven leadership ability, with experience managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a highly competitive and challenging industry.
