MDM Architect

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced MDM Architect with a strong background in banking to join our team and play a critical role in designing and implementing our Master Data Management (MDM) solution.

You will leverage your expertise in data governance, data security, and banking regulations to architect a robust and scalable platform that supports our organization's data management needs.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the architectural design of the MDM solution, including data models, infrastructure, and integration points.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations (e.g., Basel III, KYC) in the design and implementation of the MDM platform.

- Design and implement data governance processes and policies to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

- Select and implement appropriate data security solutions (IAM, DSAM) to safeguard sensitive banking data.

- Integrate the MDM solution with existing data sources and applications using industry-standard protocols.

- Design and implement data quality processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of master data.

- Leverage DevOps principles (CI/CD) to automate the deployment and management of the MDM platform.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the MDM solution.

- Lead and mentor a team of data architects and engineers.

- Effectively communicate with stakeholders across different levels (technical and business) to ensure project success.

- Manage project lifecycles using methodologies like Agile or Waterfall, driving the architecture from design to implementation.

- Experience working in both onsite and offshore development models is a plus.

Qualifications :

Must Have :

- 12+ years of experience in architecting data and analytics platforms.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Banking MDM implementation with at least 2 successful projects completed.

- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance solutions.

- Strong understanding of Banking Regulations (e.g., Basel III, KYC) and their applicability to data and analytics platforms.

- 8+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres), NoSQL databases, and/or Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, etc.).

- Experience in Data Security Solutions (Identity and Access Management, Data Security Access Management).

- 3+ years of experience with DevOps (CI/CD).

- MDM Certification (preferred).

- Experience with project lifecycles (Agile/Waterfall) and driving project architecture from design to implementation.

- Leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in project governance and enterprise customer management.

- Experience working in both onsite and offshore development models (a plus).
