AI Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile leader to head our AI Team. The role requires a rare blend of technical expertise, solution delivery and customer engagement. The AI Technologist will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development and delivery of AI solutions — with a strong focus on Predictive Maintenance, AI Agents and customer-driven PoCs — while also driving business discussions, demos and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable in the boardroom presenting to clients and in the lab working with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-driven solutions such as Predictive Maintenance and Generative AI Agents.
• Manage full project lifecycles, from requirement gathering to implementation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee technical solutioning for new customer requirements, including initial Proof of Concept (PoC) development.
• Conduct discussions with potential and existing customers to understand needs and propose tailored AI solutions.
• Deliver engaging demos, presentations and technical workshops to stakeholders at various levels.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support pre-sales activities.
• Oversee in-house AI Agent product development from concept to launch.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends, tools and frameworks to guide the innovation roadmap.
• Identify and develop new AI use cases across manufacturing and related industries.
• Mentor internal teams on AI technologies, project execution and innovation best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on knowledge of AI/ML concepts, predictive analytics and Generative AI frameworks.
• Proven experience in AI solution architecture, PoC development and end-to-end delivery.
• Familiarity with industrial AI applications, particularly in manufacturing and predictive maintenance.
• Knowledge of AI Agent frameworks and LLM-based solution deployment.

Business & Client Management

• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Strong experience in translating customer requirements into functional and technical deliverables.
• Pre-sales experience including solution demonstrations and proposal creation.
• Track record of driving innovation projects and new product development.
• Knowledge of emerging AI tools, frameworks, and research trends.

Education & Experience:

• Doctorate/ Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML, solution development or related roles (with leadership experience preferred).
• Prior experience in manufacturing domain AI solutions will be an added advantage.
