Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Environment Expert to join our team. The Environment Expert will be responsible for the development of the master plan for our project, ensuring compliance with all necessary environmental sensitivities, regulations, acts, and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of environmental science and engineering principles, as well as extensive experience in obtaining environmental clearance for development, modernization, or upgradation of port projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop the master plan for the project, incorporating all environmental considerations and complying with relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough environmental assessments to identify potential impacts of the project on the surrounding environment.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities to obtain necessary environmental clearances for the project.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on environmental matters throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of environmental mitigation measures to ensure compliance with approved plans.
  • Stay abreast of developments in environmental regulations and best practices, and advise project stakeholders accordingly.
  • Conduct environmental audits and inspections as required, and address any non-compliance issues promptly.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-Graduation in Environmental Science/Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of obtaining environmental clearance for development, modernization, or upgradation of port projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, acts, and procedures relevant to port development projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
