We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of Telecom Domain.
4-15 years experience, who has excellent understanding of Telecom Domain, and experience of Consulting / Solution Design / Solution Architecture for IT Products and Services development.
As a Telecom Domain Consultant, you'll be required to seek out the best ways to improve business processes and effectiveness through technology, strategy, analytic solutions.
Brings in strong knowledge in the telecom domain, and a working experience across Business and Technology Roles, across B2B and B2C businesses.
Works with senior leadership, brings thought leadership, and helps to build and strengthen Telecom practice.
Experience with Business Analysis, Business Process Re-engineering, E2E Solution Design / Component or System Design / Solution Architecture, in Telecom OSS / BSS domain is required.
Good to have working experience on Digital Transformation, OSS/BSS Cloud Implementations, Network Transformation programs.
Understanding of Technology Landscape such as E2E OSS & BSS, CRM/CPQ, Product Catalog, Order Management (OM), Service Order Management, Inventory Management, Microservices based Architecture, RPA, Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, Billing, and Invoicing for B2C / B2B business.
Should have a business focus, and an equal understanding of IT/Technology enablement, so as to be able to align the business goals/objectives to the IT delivery.
Good experience in data modelling, UML, and integration patterns.
Has good understanding of frameworks relevant for Telecommunications domain (for e.g. eTOM, SID, TAM, ITIL, ODA)
Able to understand and translate business requirements, and working with product / technical and operations teams to help design and build new Products and Services
Able to conduct workshops and design thinking sessions, to understand IT Process / Technology / Architecture and existing OSS/BSS implementations.
Able to deliver intelligent business insights through translation of reports and analytics.
Fair understanding of both B2C & B2B Product Lifecycle management (Products, Promotion, Pricing, Digital Marketing etc.)
Understanding of technologies such as 4G/5G/Metro Ethernet/ATM/MPLS/SONET/SDH etc. and their mapping to OSS systems is an added advantage.

Lead the design and development of OSS/BSS solutions for telecommunication clients.
Work closely with clients to understand requirements and propose optimal solutions.
Define architecture blueprints and provide technical leadership to project teams.
Conduct workshops, design reviews, and provide guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to OSS/BSS systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and implementing OSS/BSS solutions.
In-depth knowledge of OSS processes and frameworks in the telecom industry.
Day-to-day tasks:
Principal Consultant will perform the following / part of the activities on a daily basis.
Requirements Management
New requirement discussions with Business Stakeholders, Product Managers and Product Owners.
Conducting or contributing to requirement grooming sessions with delivery squads.
Running requirement elicitation meetings with Technology and Operations teams.
Capturing functional and non-functional requirements based on current scope.
Managing requirements prioritization using MOSCOW / WSJF frameworks.
Accepting story closures based on sprint demo and definition of done.
Business Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders and understand the business requirements through mutual dialogue, workshops etc.
Analyse and qualify requirements.
Align the business requirements with IT delivery.
Ensure coherence between all business and technology stakeholders.
Process & Customer Journey discussions
Conducting Process walkthrough discussions with Sales / Operations and Service Users.
Creating Customer Journey flows for key User Personas.
Scrum Ceremonies
Attending and contributing to daily stand-up meetings with delivery squads.
Participating and contributing to Sprint and PI Planning meetings.
Participating and contributing to Requirement Grooming sessions.
Participating and contributing to Sprint Retrospective meetings.
Participating and providing feedbacks in Show and Tell sessions.
