Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Theater Nurse at Dr. Vanchilingam Hospital in Thanjavur. The Theater Nurse will be responsible for performing various nursing duties in the operating theater, including assisting with surgical procedures, preparing patients for surgery, and monitoring patient vitals during surgery. The Theater Nurse will also be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment in the operating theater and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications
  • Valid nursing license and certification
  • Experience in operating theater nursing
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexible schedule and availability for on-call duties
  • Experience with Neurosurgery is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
