Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role also involves participating in technical research and development to drive continuous innovation within our infrastructure.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure system hardware, operating systems, and related procedures adhere to customer security requirements and configuration management.

  • Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems.

  • Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.

  • Maintain systems documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.

  • Research and recommend hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery, including familiarity with backup and restore mechanisms.

  • Develop and monitor policies and standards for the allocation of computing resources.

  • Administer a Windows domain, utilizing:

    • Active Directory

    • Group Policy

    • McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator

    • SCCM

    • PowerShell scripting

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.

  • Provide advice and training to end-users.

  • Stay current with relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Use VMware to build and maintain virtual machines.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of related systems engineering experience in systems administration and analysis.

  • Must hold an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly Clearance.

  • Experience administering VMWare in a Windows and Linux environment.

Requirements
