Who are we looking for?

We are seeking
Enterprise Cost Transformation Consultants
with strong engineering and automotive expertise to support a cost reduction and sourcing project for a global consulting client. The role involves driving cost optimization initiatives, sourcing strategies, and enterprise cost transformation within the automotive sector. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about engineering-driven cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement and manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost reduction initiatives across procurement, sourcing, and supply chain in the automotive industry.
  • Analyze product design, raw material costs, and manufacturing processes to identify savings opportunities.
  • Work closely with suppliers, procurement teams, and engineering departments to implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to compare cost structures with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement enterprise cost transformation strategies tailored to automotive supply chains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs without compromising quality and performance.
  • Utilize data analytics, value engineering, and lean methodologies for cost optimization.
  • Report insights and progress to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (mandatory).
  • 4–10 years of relevant experience (flexibility of +/-1–2 years can be considered).
  • Strong background in cost reduction, sourcing, and enterprise cost transformation within automotive.
  • Experience in value engineering, should-cost analysis, and cost benchmarking.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, six sigma, and process optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a data-driven approach.

  • Professionals from automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Duration:
Opportunities may last
6 months on a contractual basis
