Manager International Taxation

Role & Responsibilities

Independently conceptualizing & developing the outline the client deliverables ability to offer timely and efficient solutions

Drafting and reviewing the deliverables for sanity and completeness accuracy

Expert knowledge and practical experience in planning and preparation computation of income tax return

Assisting Senior Manager / Associate Director / Partner in various tax advisory projects wherein research has to be conducted and detailed memos with opinions to be drafted

Independently handling tax assessments tax litigation and tax office matters before tax officer CIT (Appeals) Tribunal;

Participate in engaging and briefing with legal counsel on client tax litigation matters

Drafting of submissions appeals etc. to be filed with the respective tax authorities

Well versed with the Indian Incometax provisions DTAAs Judicial precedents

Ability to independently analyze research on technical issues and interpret provisions under the Income Tax Act.

Effectively and cordially handling team members which may comprise of DM/ Associates/ Trainees etc. Manage deliverable timelines alongside work quality and precision

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability and confidence to interact with clients in India and overseas

Keeping him/ herself abreast with updates / amendments in tax laws judicial precedents etc.

Number crunching ability

Excellent eye for detail and deliberation

Efficiency in MS office and report / submission drafting skills

Ownership and responsibility of clients/tasks assigned

Overall a pleasing personality

Developing good rapport with client management

Proactive in solving complex problems of client tax matter

Make efforts in keeping himself updated with tax and regulatory changes and encourages team members / juniors for the same

Qualification Chartered Accountant with experience in International tax/ Tax Litigation/ DTAAs/ Income Tax Compliances and Tax office representation Work experience of minimum 4 5 years post CA qualification. Candidate having a Big 4 work experience will be helpful.
