Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to help the organization make data-driven decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives to optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis to support business decisions in areas such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Interpret data and provide actionable insights to improve business processes and drive efficiency.
- Design and implement queries and algorithms to manipulate and analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Conduct data validation and ensure data integrity and accuracy across datasets.
- Work with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure the effective use of data analytics tools and systems.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on data-driven findings.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business needs and projects.
- Stay updated with the latest data analytics tools and techniques to improve analysis processes and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
- Solid understanding of data management practices, including data cleaning, transformation, and modeling.
- Knowledge of database management and familiarity with database querying languages (e.g., SQL).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data wrangling and data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms or predictive modeling.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools and frameworks.
- Experience in the specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, marketing) would be a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
