Job Description
Company Overview:
iScale Solutions specializes in providing top-tier software engineering talent to clients worldwide. We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineers for a global marketing agency. The selected engineers will work as part of our team in Vietnam, with a close bond with the APAC regional team.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and infrastructure.
  • Design and implement automation pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, from network and infrastructure to application code.
  • Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Creation of RFP based on SOA for cloud platform and other tools used by the team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to system emergencies.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Expertise in ELK Stack. Must know how to monitor, manage and deploy ELK stack.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
At least 6 years of hands-on experience working on Java projects with leading experience will be a huge plus. Proficient in Java, preferably version 1.8, and SQL with a solid background. Mandatory experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and React JS. Demonstrated DevOps mindset and practical experience. Exceptional analytical, deductive, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Strong track record in writing comprehensive unit tests. Exposure to additional technologies such as containerization and designing reliable systems is advantageous. Being able to communicate in English is a must.
