About the Role :
This is a new leadership role within the CIB Data organization. It is being setup to bring deeper and broader set of skills in the Data Management, Governance and CIB Traded Products domain.
We are looking for a senior leader, who can bring in a mix of hands-on experience in the data space, coupled with strategic thinking and consultative collaboration skills with our business stakeholders. He/she will be a part of the CIB Data Leadership team.
This role will be responsible for the groups Data Strategy implementation as well as provide SME cover to the different delivery teams spanning Data Products and Data Governance.
Responsibilities:
  • Thought Leadership across Data Mgmt -understanding the Banks' data strategy, policy and procedures and ensuring customization and compliance across CIB LoB
  • Lead all strategic data initiatives for CIB I&P - specifically around simplification of our data landscape and expansion of CIB App for wider usage
  • Provide knowledge guidance and support to Data Mgmt. and Governance teams
  • Work proactively with different stake holders in our pursuit to create a high-performance team that specializes in Data and CIB
  • Work with Delivery Mgrs. and US stakeholders to define relevant KPIs for success and define means for continuous measurement
  • Work closely with different LoBs as well as Enablement teams, to facilitate optimal usage of CIB Data
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of LoB, delivering scalable and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
Essential Qualifications:
  • 20+ Years of Data Management and Data Governance experience across:
    • Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts | Data Modeling
    • Knowledge of SQL | Hadoop / Hive
    • Data Quality | Lineage | Dictionary | Metadata | Reference Data
  • Domain:
    • Investment Banking / Capital Markets / Traded products knowledge
  • Knowledge of Agile Delivery
  • Soft Skills :
    • Strong Interpersonal & communication skills
    • Executive presence
Educational Qualification: B-Tech/M-Tech/MBA/CA/Other Post Graduate Programs
