The role demands bothdeep functional expertise and strong architectural leadership , with 75% focus onSolution & Delivery Ownershipand 25% onPractice Development & Presales .Key Responsibilities1. Solution Architecture & DesignArchitect and design end-to-end SAP solutions acrossFSCM (Credit, Collections, Dispute Management, Treasury), RAR, and FI .Provide thought leadership inS/4HANA Financecapabilities, Universal Journal, Account-Based COPA, and integration scenarios.Develop solution roadmaps, process flows, design documents, and functional blueprints.2. Hands-on Delivery LeadershipLeadworkshops, requirement discussions, system demos , and solution walkthroughs with business and IT stakeholders.Own functional specification development for WRICEF objects (RICEFW).Guide development teams on customizations in FSCM, RAR rules, event-based revenue recognition, and FI enhancements.Support end-to-end cycles includingUnit Testing, SIT, UAT, Cutover & Post-Go-Live .3. FSCM ExpertiseHands-on experience in:Credit Management (BP Credit, FSCM Credit)Collections & Dispute ManagementTreasury & Risk Management (Cash Mgmt, Liquidity Planning, Market Risk, Credit Risk)In-House CashCash Application / Lockbox / Bank Communication Management (BCM)Ability to integrate banking solutions and external payment providers.4. SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting)Expertise in SAPRAR 1.3+, BRF+, IFRS 15 & ASC 606processes.Configure revenue contracts, performance obligations, event-based RAR processing, and revenue postings.Strong skills in integration with SD, Subscription Billing, and Finance.5. SAP FI ExpertiseCore FI knowledge:GL, AP, AR, AA, Taxation, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)Closing processes, Payment Programs, DunningIntercompany processes & validationsExperience in S/4HANA New GL, New Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.6. Cross-Module & Technical IntegrationCollaborate with functional teams fromSD/OTC, MM, PP, EWM, BTP, Analytics , and Middleware systems.Work closely with ABAP/BTP teams for enhancements, Fiori apps, CDS Views, and workflows.7. Governance, Quality & Practice DevelopmentEnsure adherence to compliance, financial controls, audit requirements, and SAP standards.Contribute to practice assets, accelerators, reusable frameworks, and solution templates.Support proposal writing, RFP responses, client presentations, and presales cycles.Required Skills & Experience12–17 yearsof SAP experience with strong hands-on delivery inFSCM, RAR, and FI .Minimum2–3 end-to-end implementation projectsin S/4HANA Finance.Strong functional + technical understanding of:Credit/Collections/DisputeCash & Liquidity ManagementTreasury & Risk ManagementPayment processing & BCMRAR revenue recognition (IFRS 15/ASC 606)Bank integrations & interfacesAbility to lead large-scale finance transformation programs.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsSAP Certifications inFSCM, RAR, or S/4HANA Finance .Experience with SAPCentral Finance (CFin)preferred.Understanding of SAPBTP, Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)is an advantage.EducationBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Business.Professional finance qualifications such asCA/CPA/ICWAare a plus.
